Forms a clump to about 2 ft. tall and wide. Glossy bright green, kidneyshaped, scalloped, or shallowly lobed leaves are 7 in. long, 15 in. wide, carried on long (1–2-ft.) leafstalks. Flower stems are 1 1/2 – 2 ft. tall, each carrying several 1 1/2 –2-in. yellow daisy flowers. The species is not as popular or widely grown as its selections.
