Stiffly branching plants to 2 ft. tall, 1 ft. wide, covered in summer and fall with rounded, papery, cloverlike heads 3/4 to 1 in.wide. These may be dried quickly and easily, retaining color and shape for winter arrangements. Narrow oval leaves are 2 to 4 in. long.
