Nierembergia repens

Cup Flower
Solanaceae
Perennials

NIEREMBERGIA

Species include a spreading mound and a ground-covering mat. Both are blanketed with broadly cup-shaped blooms in summer. Beyond hardiness range, treat these perennials as annuals.

Nierembergia repens

Native to Andean and warm-temperate South America. This species grows as a mat 4 to 6 in. high, 2 ft. wide, with bright green foliage and white blossoms. For best performance, don’t crowd it with more aggressive plants. Not as heat tolerant as Nierembergia linariifolia.
