South African native to 1 1/2 ft. tall, spreading to twice as wide or more. Tiny, furry, whitish leaves are closely packed along sprawling, woody-based stems. Grown for its foliage rather than its clusters of small pinkish flowers. Attractive gray plant for ground- or bank cover, large rock garden, or border.
