DIERAMANative to South Africa. Evergreen; will die to the ground in extreme cold. Sword-like leaves to 2 ft. long; slender, tough, arching stems 4 to 7 ft. tall, topped in late spring or early summer with pendulous flowers that range in color from purplish pink to other pink shades to white.
Effective against background of dark green shrubs or at end of pool where graceful form can be displayed. Plant in spring, setting corms 3 to 5 in. deep and about 2 ft. apart. When dividing clumps, included several corms in each division.
