This well-branched Rocky Mountains native grows 5–8 ft. tall and wide with finely divided, fernlike, aromatic foliage. Evergreen in warmer regions, semievergreen or deciduous elsewhere. Midsummer flowers are white, less than 1/2 in. wide, in many blossomedupright clusters to 4 in. long. Cut off spent clusters after bloom. Needs gooddrainage.
