These slender, upright growers, usually multitrunked, offer handsome, generally evergreen leaves and pure white flowers with tufts of yellow stamens in the center. Good accent plants. Give them neutral or slightly acid soil and shelter from strong winds. In Zones 5 and 6,protect young plants from temperatures below 15°F (–9°C).
