LINARIA

Brightly colored blooms look like small, spurred snapdragons (Antirrhinum). Medium green, very narrow leaves. Easy to grow. Best in masses; individual plants are rather wispy.

Linaria hybrids

Annuals. The Fantasy series produces compact plants to 1 ft. high and 6–8 in. wide, with very narrow bluish green leaves. Clusters of 1/2–1-in. flowers appear in spring and summer and come in blue with a yellow throat, magenta, pink, yellow, and white. ‘Enchantment’ has very fragrant magenta-and-gold flowers on plants to 16 in. high.
