Native to Australia. Dense, erect habit to 6–10 ft. tall, 3–5 ft. wide. Close-set, upright branches are thickly clothed with straight, narrow, 1 1/2-in.-long, dark green leaves that resemble those of rosemary. In early summer, closely packed red buds appear at branch tips; these open into 1 1/2-in. clusters of tiny white daisies. The entire plant has a pleasant aroma, especially in warm weather—variouslydescribed as herbal or clover.‘Silver Jubilee’ has silveryfoliage.
