Medium to large; quite long neck, interesting and attractive in form. Heavy russeting on green or yellow skin. Fine flavor; firm, juicy flesh. Holds shape when cooked. Ripens after cold storage. Late. Best in the Northwest and higher elevations farther south. Large, upright, vigorous tree. Needs pruning in youth. Highly susceptible to fireblight.
