Very small; roundish to pear shaped. Yellow-brownskin. Granular, very sweet, aromatic flesh. A favorite for home gardens, preserving. Early midseason. Highly productive. Fairly resistant to fireblight. Self-fruitful but bears more heavily with pollenizer (any except ‘Bartlett’ and its strains will do).
