Perennials

From New Zealand. Tiny gray leaves form a very tight carpet to 1/2 in. high and 1 ft. wide; stems are hidden by the leaves. Inconspicuous pale yellow flowers in spring. Needs sandy soil and perfect drainage. Good in rock gardens. Hybrid R. x ‘Greenstone’ grows 1 in. high and 3 ft. wide, with silvery green leaves.
