Tiny gray leaves form a verytight carpet to 1/2 in. high, 1 ft.wide; stems are hidden by theleaves. Inconspicuous pale yellowflowers in spring. Needssandy soil, perfect drainage.Good in rock gardens. From NewZealand. Hybrid R. × ‘Greenstone’grows 1 in. high, 3 ft.wide, with silvery green leaves.
