Fast-growing, bushy plant fromthe Cape region of South Africa.Grows to 15 in. high and wide,with very finely divided, brightgreen leaves reminiscent of dill.Golden orange flowers 2 in.across have a maroon circlearound a central golden eye.Flowers open during the day,close in the evening and oncloudy days. Bloom period lastsfor several months, peaking insummer. Tolerant of heat anddrought once established.‘Solar Fire’ is an excellent varietywith larger flowers.
