Showy pink to purple flowers to 2 in. long. Wide spreading. One of the hardiest cacti; subspecies from the coldest zones will take temperatures far below zero. Also thrives as a houseplant; cut back on moisture during winter. Usually sold as Mammillaria vivipara.
